Several other boxes were updated at the same time, and all ports rebuilt post upgrade. FreeBSD x.x.com 8.3-RELEASE-p3 FreeBSD 8.3-RELEASE-p3 #0: Tue Jun 12 00:39:29 UTC 2012 root@amd64-builder.daemonology.net:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64 I have cleanly stopped and restarted all userland applications, but only a reboot resets the wired memory levels. Services: smtp, named, apache, java server. The java server ( Wowza) is the most obvious culprit, but this was a binary install of both wowza and the JVM, diablo-jdk-1.6.0.07.02_19 = up-to-date with index Any hints/tips? thanks Paul. -- ------------------------- Paul Macdonald IFDNRG Ltd Web and video hosting ------------------------- t: 0131 5548070 m: 07970339546 e: paul@ifdnrg.com w: http://www.ifdnrg.com ------------------------- IFDNRG 40 Maritime Street Edinburgh EH6 6SA -------------------------
