I am trying to tar -zxvf a 15 gig tar file (yes my backup). I get about 1/4 way through it and start getting files names that are unreadable (lots of funkey ASCII stuff. Is there any tool out there that works on linux or freebsd that can repart a .tgz file? ><> Nathan Stratton nathan@robotics.net http://www.robotics.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
