Why do you need it? Nobody raised this concern while the bug#246816 was open. I don't recall at the moment the project that motivated this update. Also, their tarballs aren't clearly labeled as "devel", and this isn't immediately obvious from their website, so it is easy to miss this fact. When I asked on their mailing list to label development snapshots as such, they replied: > I don't think we make devel distinction anymore.
