The install for BitchX went without a hitch and so I opened an x-term and fired it up. BitchX seemed to start up fine, showing the ascii art and then saying it was connecting to a server. But the status bar lines all had odd characters in it (which I originally attributed to my not using an ascii font). Then it gave an "Interrupted system call" error on connecting to the server and tried again. This time however, it just segfaulted. Is this a problem with the port, or just something wrong with the way my machine is set up?
