I have found a solution to my problem. I have created a directory mpdscribble in /var/run Then, I changed rights of /var/run/mpdscribble to 777 and I rebooted the system. At startup, there were no error message. In /var/run/mpdscribble the pid file was present and was owned by "nobody" user. Then I changed the owner of ths directory to "nobody" user (owner), and I 'chmoded' 755 on the directory. Now I can start mpdscribble at startup without error. I hope this can be useful for others. Thanks. Alexandre L.
