Sorry. Maybe I got some crosstalk... :) // I suggest checking hardware flow control; this handled differently in // FreeBSD than it is in NetBSD. Well, in tty mode the line works PERFECTLY ! I'm using it right now. Hylafax also proved to be ok during my first tests, sending and receiving. I suppose that by hardware flow control you mean stty -ixon -ixoff crtscts, am I right ? I thought SLIP would ignore these when active, but will try. Oh, I saw some commands in stty not present in the manual: dsrflow, dtrflow and mdmbuf, all of then disabled. What are these ? BTW: It's an external modem, running at 57600 BPS, with on-board 16550. // -DG // // David Greenman // Core-team/Principal Architect, The FreeBSD Project Jonny -- Joao Carlos Mendes Luis jonny@coe.ufrj.br +55 21 290-4698 ( Job ) jonny@cisi.coppe.ufrj.br Network Manager UFRJ/COPPE/CISI Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro
