Can anyone tell me where the authoritative ISO_8859-1 locale specs can be 
found, please.
The definitions in /usr/share/locale have en_AU and en_CA using %m/%d/%y, 
like en_US, but I'm pretty sure they should be %d/%m/%y, like en_GB.
