            Bug ID: 253202

           Product: Base System
           Version: CURRENT
          Hardware: arm64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---

ARM64: add vmx and pvscsi to GENERIC

As more people are starting to use VMWare ESXi ARM Fling along with pre-bui=
lt
FreeBSD ISO images, I think it would be worthwhile to include the "vmx" net=
work
driver and "pvscsi" storage controller driver in ARM64 GENERIC, just as it =
is
included with AMD64 GENERIC.

Since the drivers are identical between AMD64 and ARM64, this shouldn't cau=
se
much concern. I've personally been using both drivers for a couple months n=
ow,
since around the launch of ESXi ARM Fling.

This will give users wanting to test FreeBSD ARM virtual machines a much be=
tter
"out of the box" experience.
