I've been testing the KDE port and found these problems: 1. Requires kernel with SYSVMSG. Withot this kdehelp was core dumping. 2. Screen saver unlocking doesn't work. (System has no DES installed). 3. It required a /usr/bin/X11 link. This seems to be in xdm/kdm. 4. It wasn't obviuos how to start it. There are no kde man pages, though kdehelp is good after you find it and get it working. I found the kdescript and made a .xsession out of it. Perhaps kde should install new /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm files so that each user doesn't need to do this? Or perhaps kdmcontrol should do this?
