Most of KDE still isn't building, but I've fixed most of the other major package failures, and along with fixes contributed by other maintainers we now have about 270 additional packages building on i386 than we did a few days ago. Unfortunately alpha is still in worse shape, but it will have to do. I'm intending to start the package build to be used for the 5.0 DP1 snapshot tomorrow night PST. Please have any last-minute fixes committed by 8pm PST.
