https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D264801 --- Comment #9 from luscent@gmail.com <luscent@gmail.com> --- First of all, thank you for your reply. I really appreciate that. What I've called IME is pretty normal on windows. At the moment, I can't say the correct word. You can simply think of it like ibus, fcitx etc, as a language input tool = such as it can help type strings in the textbox with other locales. When I setup *nix, I always install the ibus package (or language ). because asian language inputs are needed. As for now, there are no ~/.xsession-errors and nothing suspicious on /var/log/messages. Like you said I was also thinking it was a locale problem. Fortunately, I didn't notice the locale problem you mentioned and English speakers don't u= se ibus. As you said, I thought of removing the locale-related settings, and w= hen I did, there was no problem. Try installing en-ibus-hangul. And if you see = an ibus related icon in the upper right corner of xfce, you're done. It will be obvious that ibus is the one that will make an impact. Sorry for being a non-English speaking user. I was also very frustrated. Fortunately, I used Google Translate to write the words smoothly. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
