            Bug ID: 282274
Summary: sysutils/ipmitool: bug in 'ipmitool lan print'
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: zi@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: dean@fragfest.com.au
          Assignee: zi@FreeBSD.org
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(zi@FreeBSD.org)

This bug was reported in detail at
https://github.com/ipmitool/ipmitool/issues/388 you can see that it impacts
Dell, UCS and HPE servers at a minimum. There is a fix proposed on that git=
hub
issue since 2023.

However github is now where this project code lives so i suspect it has been
ignored.

I have juggled the patch over to codeberg and send a pull request here
https://codeberg.org/IPMITool/ipmitool/pulls/50

This bug is affecting our servers so we are hoping that this fix can be app=
lied
to the freebsd port and we can unfreeze our packages. Hopefully it will
eventually be merged upstream or fixed in a better way.
