hi,there: thank you for all replies. I still can't solve the problem. I logged in as a single user mode and also mounted file systems needed with command "mount -w" . ex: mount -w /dev/wd0s2f /usr I tried to use "vi", "chsh" and "vipw" to edit files but the error message showed me that the file systems are read-only. How can I change mode to write-read and what files should I edit to correct the problem? thanks a lot!
