I have been sending mail to Jordon on this also. ----- My hardware: 386SX-40 (AMD chip), 32meg ram, Adaptek scsi disk (aic), 16550AF type serial ports, 3C503 ethernet (16 bit), two CDC 300meg drives. Current OS: FreeBSD 2.1-STABLE (SUPed last week from SUP.FreeBSD.ORG) Last OS: FreeBSD 2.0.0R (6/22 snap) Trouble: Keyboard hang during ISA bus probe (syscons probe) pppd causes kernal hang (will respond to ping ed0 only) ----- These did not show up in FreeBSD 2.0.0R, and my other two FreeBSD systems do not seem to show this (both 2.1-STABLE) but they only act as ppp "servers" for other systems. I am trying as a test, the user mode PPP to narrow down my ppp hangs. _ _ _ __ michaele@mxim.com ' ) ) ) / /) / ` / /) Michael Enkelis / / / o _. /_ __. _ // /-- __ /_ _ // o _ (503) 641 - 3737 x2245 / ' (_(_(__/ /_(_(_(<_(/_ (___, /) )_/ <_(<_(/_(_/_)_
