Since when you carried the heavy weight, it doesn't really matter much unless it was a machine a lot lighter, then you would have the impression that you forgot your notebook or something. The Inspiron 7500 is made by a Taiwanese company just like a lot of the IBM's are made by Acer to IBM specs. You can actually get the same i7500 machine under different brand names from Computer Shopper.
