I did that and when i do a config mykernel i get a warning saying da0 is configured at scbus0 witch is not fixed at a single adapter. the system has only one adaptec 1542 controller and standard ide controllers with nothing plugged into the ide controllers other than a cdrom on secondard slave. is is still ok to compile a kernel with it?
