After reboot the boot manager does not work, pressing F1 boots windos fine, but pressing F3 does nothing but beep. Also NortonAntivirus reports a virus in the MBR, which is bull, but I've installed 3.3-RELEASE on 10 other machines and norton never reported anything except the MBR being changed... >How-To-Repeat: Try to install 3.4-RELEASE by booting from a cdrom on a machine with following configuration: Intel 820CC motherboard Pentium III 700Mhz CPU 256MB SDRAM [PC100] IBM Deskstar 20.05GB Ultra ATA66 [primary master][two fat32 partitions present] Mitsumi 48X CDROM [secondary master][booted from here] Guillemot 3D Prophet DDR/DVI 32Mb SGRAM SoundBlaster Live >Fix: Not known as of yet... I'll try installing already tested cd with 3.3-RELEASE on the same machine and see what happens, maybe this is just because of the i820 chipset, if so then 3.3 should not work either, otherwise it could be the problem with this particular ISO image that I have... >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
