The Bugathon was in the form of an introduction to bugs.freebsd.org and the web and commandline tooling, hosted on google meet, streamed publicly and coordinated in the #freebsd-bugs irc channel on freenode. We planned an 8 hour window from 1400UTC-2100UTC with the intention of having a long enough block of time that most of the world could take part. We spoke for about an hour and a half and then settled into dealing with bugs. There were 15 or so people in the google meet and several more on the stream. In total we modified roughly 139 bugs[2] and have generated roughly 30 commits[3] so far (most of these commits are tagged with 'Event: July 2020 Bugathon'). I would like to thank everyone that attended and helped close bugs, triage issues and added form to the discussion. I hope that more of these events happen in the future, this is our first Bugathon since 2010 and I think it has been a resounding success. To make sure we don't have another long pause between Bugathons, I am going to host a second Bugathon on Saturday 19th of September 2020 from 1400UTC-1200UTC. I will follow up nearer to that date with specific details and plans for the day. I hope that you will join us to process bugs. - Tom [1]: https://wiki.freebsd.org/Bugathons/202007 [2]: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?chfieldfrom=2020-07-11%2014%3A00&chfieldto=2020-07-11%2021%3A00&email1=%28allanjude%7Cthj%7Cmarkj%7Clinimon%7Cpizzamig%7Czeising%7Cmr%7Csbz%7Crene%7Cbrnrd%7Cdbaio%7Cbhd%7Ccarlavilla%7Cpauamma%29%40&emailassigned_to1=1&emailcc1=1&emaillongdesc1=1&emailreporter1=1&emailtype1=regexp&list_id=365496&order=changeddate%2Cbug_status%2Cpriority%2Cassigned_to%2Cbug_id&query_format=advanced [3]: https://freshbsd.org/search?q=July+2020+Bugathon&project%5B%5D=freebsd&sort=commit_date
