     I am of the opnopn "to each, his own" NT does stuff, freebsd does 
     stuff, unix does stuff, unix may do certian things better, NT may do 
     certiain things better. As long as it does what you want, go for it. 
     But it is obvious he made several mistakes
     1. Running 3.0-Devel in a production enviroment is no a good idea. 
     they have a stable version for a reason
     2. if 3.0 didn't work why didn't he try 2.0.
