Please cc -questions so others can respond as well... 8o) StarCalc has on-line help. It's the only documentation they put out, AFAIK. Spreadsheets are pretty simple to use to get started. I suggest that you first attempt a few really simple sheets, just to learn all the things a sheet can do. You can get tutorial books on various spreadsheet programs, but they're product specific. They could be used, but you'll have to *translate* ideas to StarCalc. But the application you have in mind is not a simple app. It's medium to complex. If you need it right away, I would suggest hiring someone that understands spreadsheets and the particular app very well, or continue searching for a custom solution. If it's for business purposes, you'll need support, training, on-going maintenance, etc. I've been a spreadsheet user/author since 1984, and I would probably search for a custom app...
