Hello,

I have a problem starting my system today. I replaced my old Pentium 166
with a new Pentium Pro 200 motherboard and CPU. Everything else is the
same(I use the old hard disk and so on). When I reboot the system I got
the following error message:

Kernel: ed1: NIC memory corrupt - invalid packet length 1
Kernel: ed1: NIC memory corrupt - invalid packet length 9

Above messages keep comming on the screen.

Can you tell me what's wrong? It is my hardware problem or my FreeBSD2.05
system kernel problem? How can I get rid of it.

Thank you very much!

Ian
