Dean ROOT To: FreeBSD@cdrom.com, Xfree86@cdrom.com Subject: IPX/SPX mounting in FreeBSD 2.0R I have several servers, and systems running various operating systems. I love the ability of FreeBSD to mount to several of these weird systems. Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out one thing, so I am asking for help. I am running a 486DX50 with a MSDOS partition and a FreeBSD partition. I spend most of my day in unix. Sometimes I will be asked to change a password on a Novell NetWare Server 3.21. I am then forced to reboot my system, and utilize the MSDOS partition just so that I can execute "LSL, SMC8000, IPXODI, & NETX" to mount a netware drive. If their is a way that I can mount a Netware drive in FreeBSD, I would be able to skip this lengthly process. My system has XFree86, and a copy of PCEMU (The unsupported MSDOS emulator.) I am not able to run those drivers in this program. I have attempted to contact the original programmer of pcemu, but have had no luck. I am asking if anyone can point me in the correct direction to either mount an ipx/spx Netware drive in FreeBSD, or where to find a MSDOS emulation program that may have more capability in the aspects of networking than pcemu. If anyone has actually been able to mount netware drives in any way in FreeBSD, I would love to learn how I can do the same thing. I would appreciate ANY help... Jeffrey D.
