General quality, ease of setup with FreeBSD, etc. I have an HL-1250. Emulates an Ljet4, quite successfully. The printouts look good, generally; TeX fonts are a bit too light for my taste (I have yet to play with the `blacker' parameter in modes.mf). The standard PostScript fonts are fine. Setup was easy: plug into wall socket, connect to PC (parallel port, dunno about USB) and print. tg To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
