Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-mobile@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Hello! I have a Gateway 2000 Solo here with a Cirrus Logic 7548 chipset (1 MB RAM, dual scan) that I'm trying to get X up on. (getting X on laptops is a load of fun!) Anyone have any modelines that work, or any good guesses? I can get the X server to start, but the display is messed up, for example the display repeats every few inches in horizontal bands. Also the display turns white, as if the brightness is turned all the way up. Any hints appreciated. Thanks! (ps: please include me in cc's since I'm not on -mobile) Doug White | University of Oregon Internet: dwhite@resnet.uoregon.edu | Residence Networking Assistant http://gladstone.uoregon.edu/~dwhite | Computer Science Major
