What's the result of "ifconfig -v wlan0 list scan" and in wpa_cli,
"scan_results" ?

There's something about the SSID that has wpa_supplicant think it can't use=
 it.

That's odd. Only thing that could be tripping things up is requiring
CCMP only with no TKIP. But you should be able to negotiate that fine
by default.

What's the contents of your /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf file in its entirety?
