It does look like it is caused by the presence of ibus, but I have no clue = why. One interesting thing is that if I launch xfce4-appfinder with truss to try= to understand where it hangs, it does not hang anymore. Usually this behavior indicates there is a timing issue, some kind of resou= rce deadlock. I don't know where the issue is or what could be a solution though, also not knowing anything about how ibus of xfce4-appfinder work internally. In fact= I never use any of those, so I don't even know how to use them.
