While performing the configure script of Enlightenment the error message
"run time linker ist not able to find IMLIB" appears (see below for the
complete message).

"ldconfig -r | grep imlib" returns:

search directories: /usr/lib:/usr/lib/compat:/opt/imlib/lib
44:-lImlib.10 => /opt/imlib/lib/libImlib.so.10

LD_LIBRARY_PATH ist set to /opt/imlib/lib

Later in the script the same mistake appears with the fnlib.

Has anyone an idea why the libs are not recognized?

Many thanks for your help!

Carsten

-------
The complete error message is:

checking for imlib-config... /opt/imlib/bin/imlib-config
checking for IMLIB - version >= 1.9.8... no
*** Could not run IMLIB test program, checking why...
*** The test program compiled, but did not run. This usually means
*** that the run-time linker is not finding IMLIB or finding the wrong
*** version of IMLIB. If it is not finding IMLIB, you'll need to set your
*** LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable, or edit /etc/ld.so.conf to point
*** to the installed location Also, make sure you have run ldconfig if that
*** is required on your system
***
*** If you have an old version installed, it is best to remove it, although
*** you may also be able to get things to work by modifying LD_LIBRARY_PATH
ERROR: Enlightenment needs a system with Imlib 1.9.8 or higherGruss
