Yes, but bug #229348 left /usr/lib/libssp_nonshared.a in /usr/lib/libc.so.
AFAIK GCC and Clang will not actually emit calls to the __stack_chk_fail_lo=
cal
symbol that appears in libssp_nonshared.a and it is just not required on am=
d64.
