It should probably support +- options > something like chmod. I wonder if the 'no' prefix could be used without too much drama? ie: mount -u -o noasync /home vs. mount -u -o async /home. Of course, the problem is when the option has a built-in 'no' prefix already.. nonoatime anyone? :-) (not that this is hard to work around, just it's a potential source of mistakes..)
