CAN I do a make world compile to 2.2 from a 2.1.7 machine and then run a config on my kernal and compile up to that, or am I stuck doing an installed upgrade. I cvsup'ed src=all, and I can't seem to move. Do I need to upgrade the gcc compiler first? Is that upgrade handled by make world? I apologize if I am directing these questions to the wrong list, but I've never had trouble with an upgrade before (from 2.1 to 2.1.7) but I also understand that 2.2 has some major changes.
