Yesterday, I've tried to use ccd pseudo-device in FreeBSD-stable, and have
got a strange result:
ccdconfig -Cv
ccd0: 2 components (sd0f, sd1e), 6995456 blocks interleaved at 512 blocks
disklabel /dev/ccd0c
# /dev/ccd0c:
type: CCD
disk: ccd
... - Ok!
newfs -f 512 -b 4096 -m 1 /dev/ccd0c
... - Ok!
but:
fsck /dev/ccd0c
Can't open /dev/rccd0c: Device not configured
disklabel ccd0
disklabel: /dev/rccd0c: Device not configured
_____
options "CCD_OFFSET=0" - does not help.
To make device entries I used patch to MAKEDEV from ccd-960131.
A.E. I can use ccd, but can't do fsck. The main problem is system restart:
it seems impossible to put ccd entry in /etc/fstab. When I used
ccd-960131.tar.gz with 2.1R it worked OK, but now ...
Could anyone help me, please.
Regards
Cher.
