https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=194661 Bug ID: 194661 Summary: [mail/nullmailer] [patch] pkgng trigger fifo fix, pkg-message extension and minor wording suggestions Product: Ports Tree Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: Needs Triage Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bugzilla.freebsd@omnilan.de CC: uffe@uffe.org CC: uffe@uffe.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(uffe@uffe.org) Created attachment 148736 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=148736&action=edit mkfifo trigger fix, pkg-message extension and sample changings Thanks for this great port! I tried it on 10.1 and wondered that nullmailer just didn't work. Reason was, that the fifo "trigger" wasn't present. As newbie to nullmailer it wasn't clear to me why/what was the problem, so I think the port needs to be fixed. I prepared a patchset which does fix the fifo issue, plus extends the pkg-message for hints about periodic.conf and sednmail-submission disabling in rc.conf. Additionally I'd like to see the "me" resp "me.sample" be more usable. Therefor I changed to @sample in pkg-plist and modified pkg-install. I don't know why PKGINSTALL and PKGMESSAGE were redifend in the port's Makefile (and PKGDEINSTALL not), leaving them to default ${PKGDIR}/PKG* just should be fine accourding to porters handbook, so I removed them. I tested 'make install' 'make deinstall' 'make package && pkg add `make -VPKGFILE`' and 'pkg delete'. Works like expected here on 10.1. --- Comment #1 from Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org> --- Maintainer CC'd -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
