Ok, but does "build with xxx" mean "build with installed package xxx" or "build with WITH_MOZILLA=xxx in order to use the xxx port in the build"? > > I am not clear of how the build process uses the installed version of > > mozilla and/or the mozilla port build. > By default, galeon will use /usr/ports/www/mozilla and galeon2 will use > /usr/ports/www/mozilla-gtk2. You must define WITH_MOZILLA if you want a > different version. I understand that and as I said in my original report, I was building galeon with WITH_MOZILLA=mozilla-devel because I want galeon 1.2.7 and mozilla 1.3a. I appreciate your continued help, but so far I'm no wiser. The outstanding questions boil down to: do I need to remove the mozilla package which I installed via the mozilla-devel-gtk2 port and install a new one from the mozilla-devel port, or if not then what am I doing wrong? -Andrew- -- _______________________________________________________________________ | -Andrew J.
