5.4-RELEASE now have p6 patchlevel. You can use /usr/ports/net/cvsup and 
/usr/share/examples/cvsup/standart-supfile for update your sources.
If you want p1 patchlevel, you can use:
1. use "date" keyword in supfile (see cvsup(1)).
2. cvs co -r RELENG_5_4 -D 20050514 src
