Announcing GPM for FreeBSD and new releases for DJGPP and EMX.

GPM-FreeBSD
The FreeBSD version is yet another port of the Linux version of GPM.
It is completely compatible with the Linux version in all respects.
Refer to the Linux installation and release notes for any version
specific information.
GPM-Linux
I've uploaded a new version "modula-sep95.tar.gz" but it simply
consolidates the 4 "fixes", so existing users need not bother
getting a new copy.
GPM-DJGPP
This version was compiled in a DOS window under Windows 95.
GPM seems to work perfectly including handling long filenames.
GPM-EMX
This version was compiled under Warp. GPM works identically as
under OS/2 2.1. The ISO I/O libraries are now integrated with the
standard libraries as with other versions of GPM.
BUG FIXES
The "Out of Channels" problem after 50 Close's (RndFile & StreamFile)
reported by Joerg Haas (Joerg_Haas@ac3.maus.de) has been fixed.
16-bit subrange comparisons were in some cases producing
incorrect code (the compare was the wrong way around)
Also an incorrect peephole optimisation was creating an erroneous
overflow check which could cause a spurious overflow trap.
These problems were reported by Claas Rink (honegger@amtrash.comlink.de)
and were fixed in the Linux fix03. (fix04 was required for a bug in fix03)
The compiler distributions have been placed into sub-directories by
operating environment. The files in each sub-directory are prefixed
by the language. Pick up the most recent one unless you have some
reason to want an older one. Note that the GPM Oberon-2 distribution
requires files from the Modula-2 compiler, so you'll need to down-load
the modula- files as well for Oberon.
