BTW, how do I prevent gnome-2's icon manager ("Window List 1.0") from being too smart? Its expanding the icons to fit the space I've made available to it in the (vertical) panel. I'd prefer that each icon was the same number of pixels, regardless of the number of icons present (like twm does). gnome 1.4 didn't seem to have this problem.. Is this a new feature? I've made a little better by setting min size to 300 and max size to 600 in the window list size area of the prefs, but its still pretty ugly.
