Line 220 of openssl/ui.h reads: int UI_ctrl(UI *ui, int cmd, long i, void *p, void (*f)()); which is a perfectly good function prototype. Try setting: NO_OPENSSL=3D true in your /etc/make.conf, compile and upgrade to 4.8-STABLE, then take the NO_OPENSSL line out of /etc/make.conf and recompile to get all of the crypto-goodness back again.
