Trouble is, he wants something he can just print out from windows, with no fooling around. The "plain text" version looks like it would be in unix text format, maybe requiring 'col -b' under unix (which is hard if you haven't installed it yet). Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The alternative would be to use the nice PDF version of the Handbook, though the PDF reader is a pretty hefty download from adobe.com. The postscript version of any *.gz probably won't be very usable under microsoft. Now I seem to remember we discussed this before, and that there was a microsoft-friendly text version somewhere.
