Has anyone managed to get the i386 jdk1.4.2 running on amd64? (If this even possible)? I've tried writing a wrapper that sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point onto my i386 filesystem and running java but it just generates lots (377K/sec) of traps. Running ktrace shows that it starts ok (mapping the correct .so's), checks the password file, creates a /tmp/hsperfdata_peter directory and then goes off into the wide blue yonder. Does anyone have any suggestions? -- Peter Jeremy
