If you're worried about QOS for your users have at least 2 machines in a
DNS rotary for users to use for sending their mail (smtp.foo.com).  These
machines only need have a small amount of disk space.  These 'smtp'
machines speak -only- to your relay boxes.

Boxes that speak to users shouldn't be attempting delivery.
