I deliberately did not bump PORTREVISION [*] to minimize effect on 4.x users
(presuming they already have nvidia-driver port installed and registered
properly).

Nonetheless, I'm thinking of more perfect way of dealing with this issue
right now, and in case I could not get one promptly, I'll IGNORE it on
4.x or find other canonically-proper way to fix it.

Despite the fact you're quite right, and I'm very aware of those and
fixes will follow promptly, I'd appreciate if such assessments were
