Yea I know... I get HTML files from all of the above and I have to
do the following to each:
apple/mac change \r tp \n
unix      Nothing
DOS       strip the \r
its a pain, but unix has good search and replace capabilities...
	 think this ranks near the Endian argument.....
         (Only near.....)
