I'm pretty sure I did the slicing with a boot-only CD-ROM, aborted for 
lack of a network connection, and then rebooted the next day with a full 
'disc1' CD-ROM. I've never hit CTRL-C, just rebooted. Does this account 
for 'restarting sysinstall'.

Is there a way out?
