I noticed that the copy of ncurses in /usr/src/lib/libncurses is 1.8.6!?!
dating from 1994.  Version 1.9.9g has been out for a while and afaik is
very stable, and version 4.0 has been released a while ago too.  Perhaps
someone could commit a newer version to -current.
