I haven't fixed it, but thanks for the replies to the start of X windows -
root vs. other user question.

I have another question. I have FreeBSD installed on a dual boot machine,
and the boot menu is:

F1: DOS
F2: FreeBSD

I would love to change the entries to something like:

F1: Windows
F2: UNIX

Is there a file somewhere I can edit?
