I see this on only ONE of my Freebsd-11 hosts: # freebsd-update fetch src component not installed, skipped Looking up update.FreeBSD.org mirrors... 4 mirrors found. Fetching metadata signature for 11.0-RELEASE from update4.freebsd.org... failed. Fetching metadata signature for 11.0-RELEASE from update5.freebsd.org... failed. Fetching metadata signature for 11.0-RELEASE from update6.freebsd.org... failed. Fetching metadata signature for 11.0-RELEASE from update3.freebsd.org... failed. No mirrors remaining, giving up. However, running pkg upgrade on the same system produces these results: # pkg upgrade Updating FreeBSD repository catalogue... FreeBSD repository is up-to-date. All repositories are up-to-date. Checking for upgrades (59 candidates): 100% Processing candidates (59 candidates): 100% The following 7 package(s) will be affected (of 0 checked): Installed packages to be UPGRADED: sudo: 1.8.19p1 -> 1.8.19p2 spidermonkey170: 17.0.0_3 -> 17.0.0_4 python: 2.7_2,2 -> 2.7_3,2 libgcrypt: 1.7.5 -> 1.7.6 gnutls: 3.4.17 -> 3.5.8 bash: 4.4.5 -> 4.4.11 Installed packages to be REINSTALLED: . . . I have successfully run freebsd-update on other FreeBSD-11 hosts that are on the same network. It is just this one that I am encountering the problem.
