This means that as root you install it with "setup /network" (or something like that, see the pdf doc), and then as user you install it with /path/to/staroffice/Office52/bin/setup. This method of installing software is not immediately intuitive. Check out the pdf installation help file that comes with Staroffice, or check with the website at "www.sun.com/staroffice".
