Syslogd really ought to be extended to support sets of programs and hosts, but this small change should do for now (for me, at least). The patch is at http://people.freebsd.org/~dcs/syslogd.diff, and a patch for stable's present syslogd is at http://people.freebsd.org/~dcs/syslogd.diff.stable.
