You don't bother telling us which disk(s) you're seeing this with, however if they happen to be Seagate Cheetah or Barracuda drives, this is a known problem and the correct fix is to obtain a firmware update from Seagate. -- ... every activity meets with opposition, everyone who acts has his rivals and unfortunately opponents also.
