[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi: I am running a dual-boot (FreeBSD/Win 98) box with a S3 Savage 4 graphic card. The machine is a Intel PIII 450 MHz, the FreeBSD runnig is version 4.0, and the XFree86 is version 3.3.6. According to the information I obtained from the Web, XFree86 3.3.6 should support the S3 Savage 4 cards with couple approrpiate drivers. However I am not able to run the x-windows properly and I can not change the resolution of the screen. (even w/ ctrl+alt+ + or -) The resolution setting is always fixed at 320X240. I tried to re-onfigure the x-windows with XF86Setup and xf86config, and it does not work even though the driver is available in the library. I am running out of ideas, and I am looking forward for your assistance. Thank you for your review and time, your support is appreciated.
